How to Make an Easy DIY Sugar Scrub at Home

IMG_8512.jpeg

Has running errands to your favorite store have you in tizzy these days? I don’t know about you, but with the COVID-19 pandemic around us, I’ve been keeping my shopping trips to a bare necessity minimum. So when I needed some gifts to send to family members, instead of heading to the store I went straight for my pantry.

There’s a warm fuzzy feeling you get when you gift a loved one something you made from the heart. And the same goes for receiving a handmade gift as well.

You could also make this sugar scrub for yourself and turn your shower into a spa! My teenager loves to make this and she experiments with different essential oils each time she makes a new batch.

So, here’s a recipe for a DIY sugar scrub that is sure to impress your loved ones (or you). No need to buy another impractical gift from the store when all of these ingredients can be found right in your pantry. And if they aren’t, that’s OK too, as I’ll include some links to the products we love.

For This Recipe I’m Using a Combo of Two Essential Oils: Lavender and Tea Tree

Lavender Essential Oil can improve your mood and give you that calming feeling you crave after a long day.

Tea Tree Essential Oil has anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties, everything we need in the world right now.

HOWEVER, You can use whatever your favorite combinations of essential oils are.

That’s the beauty of this scrub
